Why We're Going All-In on Pet Supplies (And Ditching Everything Else)

In a nutshell, we finally figured out what we're supposed to be when we grow up. Spoiler: It's a pet store!

So, here's the thing. For the past couple of years, we've been selling a little bit of everything. Phone cases, kitchen gadgets, random home décor, and—oh yeah—pet supplies.

But when we actually looked at our sales numbers (you know, like responsible business owners that are definitely not procrastinating), we noticed something pretty obvious: Pet stuff was outselling literally everything else.

By a lot. Like, it wasn't even close.

So, I gathered all of us in a circle (OK, it was a semi-circle… there aren’t many of us here) and had a little come-to-Jesus moment: Why are we pretending to be a general store when people clearly want us to be a pet store?

Your pets deserve better than sharing shelf space with phone cases. And honestly? So do you.

What's Changing (Don't Panic, It's Good Stuff)

Alright, so here's the game plan. Over the next few weeks, you're gonna start seeing some changes around here:

1. New Look

We're giving the website a fresh coat of paint. Think less "random online store" and more "your pet's new favorite place." Expect cleaner navigation, better organization, and way easier browsing. No more scrolling past blenders to find the perfect chew toy.

2. Product Line Glow-Up

We're cleaning house. The random stuff? Gone. In its place? A seriously curated selection of premium pet supplies for your furry (and scaly!) friends.

That's right—we're not just doing cats and dogs anymore. We're expanding to cover:

• Dogs (obviously)

• Reptiles
• Small animals (hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc.)

Basically, if it's a pet, we're gonna have something awesome for it.

A store run by actual pet owners. My cat Lynx (our official TailRings mascot) and the newest member of our family, Socci, don't mess around with cheap toys. Well, unless it's a twisty-tie that fell on the floor—then all bets are off.
