The removable top cover has a built-in feeding hole, so you can drop in food or lift the whole cover without playing Tetris with your tank setup. The basking platform comes with a textured, non-slip ramp that makes it easier for turtles (especially baby turtles) to climb up and soak. Fair warning: the basking platform is fixed to the tank and is not designed to be removed.
